OUMS Oxford University Music Society. What do we do? The Musical Hub of Oxford. OUMS aims to encourage mass participation in music. As well as co-ordinating many auditioned ensembles. Our next upcoming concert is in Trinity Term, and the programme is to include Rachmaninov, Kodaly and Debussy, with guest conductor Robert Hodge. Check back soon for more information! To complement its extraordinarily talented student members, OUO is always conducted by a professional and regularly uses professional soloists.
The Oxford University Philharmonia was founded in 1992 and ever since it has been both run and conducted entirely by students. To name but a few. Cello Concerto in E minor. A Cunning Little Vixen Suite.

Oxford University Brass Band is a student run, full-sized, non-auditioning Brass Band based in Oxford. We are available to play at a great range of events, and we welcome bookings. The Oxford University Brass Band will be performing at the annual UniBrass competition on the 15th February 2014. OUBrass is an OUMS ensemble. OUMS, the Oxford University Music Society.
The choir gives termly concerts, often performing in the prestigious Sheldonian Theatre in the centre of the city. The repetoire is composed mainly of large-scale choral works and classical pieces.
